FREE fitness classes are another value of YMCA membership. There are various levels of classes to suit your needs and fitness goals. Fitness classes are complimentary to members unless otherwise noted.

See the schedule for session dates and times unless details appear below. Registration is not necessary for most fitness classes. Adult Fitness (Kids 8 years+ with parent participation welcome)

Basic Step
Get a great workout using an adjustable bench. The class focuses on lower body conditioning; upper body movements are added for an even better workout.
 

Boogie Line Dance
If you love to dance and burn calories, this line dance aerobic workout is for you.
 

Gentle Yoga
If you’re new to yoga, benefit from this soothing, relaxing class that introduces basic poses and proper form.
 

Hip Hop
Enjoy a variety of cardio jam-style classes that blend the latest dance moves to make you sweat.
 

Indoor Cycling
Whether you’re a beginner, recreational cyclist or serious racer, this class on cutting-edge indoor stationary bikes provides an excellent workout with no joint impact. Check the schedule for specialty cycling classes.

Kickbox Bootcamp
Kick it up in this high-energy class that includes kickboxing techniques, basic punches, kicks and combo drills. Your instructor leads fitness drills.

Super ″Y″ Circuit
Get a high intensity full-body workout that keeps your heart rate elevated for the full 45-minute class.

Tai Chi
Improve your relaxation, circulation, balance and coordination while discovering your inner peace.

Tighten, ′n′ Tone TNT
Isolate targeted areas to improve muscle strength and tone. Includes stretching.

Yoga
Practice traditional poses, sun salutations, stretches and relaxation techniques. Class may include power/strength training focused on total body toning, increased flexibility and range of motion. Watch for Sunset Yoga, Fusion, Yoga Stretch and Family Yoga on the schedule.

Family & Teen Fitness

Family Tai Chi
Bring your kids (ages 6+) and gain improved relaxation, circulation, balance and coordination as a family.
When: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 5-6 p.m.

Hip Hop for Kids (6-12 years)
Kids learn street beat, hip hop and break dance moves.

YMCA Iron Kids (7-13 years)
Youth bike, run and swim like triathletes in training in this program designed for all skill levels.
When: Mondays and Wednesdays, 5:30-6:30 p.m. in the weight room; Fridays, 4:30-5:30 p.m. in the pool. Sessions start the first Monday, Wednesday or Friday of the month. Each student typically participates in 12-14 sessions monthly. Wear athletic attire, bring swimsuit on Friday only.
